We'd worked with Europa for a couple of years before twigging that they might be in need of an events agency for a summer party.

It ended up being a great call. This was possibly the most luxurious setting we've held an event in!

Boughton Estate in Corby is something else, as you can see from the photos.

The Purpose

The purpose of the event was to reward staff with a summer get together - to give them an opportunity to let their hair down & enjoy some team bonding outside of work.

The Kit

We have mountains of brilliant kit for outdoor events, so it was great to put it to use on this event. We joined two of our stretch tents to create enough space for a bar, a stage, somewhere to sit & to dance (essential, obviously). On the entrance to the tent, we installed our bamboo frame with rainbow coloured bunting to make a funky walkway.

Our LED Tipis had a run out too - they served as a super cool place to sit, and frankly they look incredible as the sun goes down. In front of Boughton House too....it was awe inspiring. For an outdoor event like this, we also needed a swanky toilet cabin - the kind you'd find in the VIP area at a festival.

Lastly, when you're in a field you definitely need some power, which comes in the form of a pretty hefty (but quiet) generator. It's the least exciting bit of kit but arguably the most important.

Anything else?

You can always count on Gustaf to be totally transparent.

Things can and do go wrong in events.

But what really matters is how well & quickly you can fix these things.

We had a caterer drop out of this event at the last second which added a little stress. But another of our skills is managing hundreds of hot food vendors on a national scale, which we do for a large global client.

So finding someone else to step in with less than 24 hours to go was straightforward for our team. 24 hours later, with fully bellies and smiles all round - we knew we'd cracked it.

Now we're seriously longing for someone to book another event with us at this venue. It was almost too cool to describe.
